"Faerie can't lie . . . or can they?"

Much has changed since autumn, when Kelley Winslow learned she was a Faerie princess, fell in love with changeling guard Sonny Flannery, and saved the mortal realm from the ravages of the Wild Hunt. Now Kelley is stuck in New York City, rehearsing Romeo and Juliet and missing Sonny more with every stage kiss, while Sonny has been forced back to the Otherworld and into a deadly game of cat and mouse with the remaining Hunters and Queen Mabh herself.

When a terrifying encounter sends Kelley tumbling into the Otherworld, her reunion with Sonny is joyful but destined to be cut short. An ancient, hidden magick is stirring, and a dangerous new enemy is willing to risk everything to claim that power. Caught in a web of Faerie deception and shifting allegiances, Kelley and Sonny must tread carefully, for each next step could topple a kingdom . . . or tear them apart.

With breathtakingly high stakes, the talented Lesley Livingston delivers soaring romance and vividly magical characters in darklight, the second novel in the trilogy that began with wondrous strange.

Taschima:

Much has changed in Kelley's life since the moment she found out her true roots. She is Faerie, and not just any Faerie but Faerie royalty. After the events on Halloween her life has returned to somewhat normal. I mean Sonny is gone, but not for long. Or so she hopes. Everything is going somewhat all right until she runs into some problems in Central Park which leads her to a reunion that is not as joyful as planned and into more trouble than she ever thought she could get into.

I found this sequel to be very entertaining. It has more action than Wondrous Strange and it's five times more complicated.

We pick up several months after the events on Wondrous Strange but not much has happened in Kelley's side of the story. Now on Sonny's side, he has been on a hunt. The first couple of pages are action. There is a lot of action on this book. There is also a lot of more questions left unanswered, though some are. There is a war brewing up, and I have my suspicion who is behind the whole thing. Oh but I'm not going to say here. No one knows but the author really.

There were some things that bothered me about the book. Some loop holes. Something that has to do with Kelly's clover charms and how some people aren't suppose to see her. Another thing is that I think Kelley could have reacted better at the end of the book and not how she did. One thing is for sure, it left me wanting to know how Sonny was going to deal which I don't know till the next book.

Anyways I don't want to give too much away sine the book is not out yet, but know this, If you liked Wondrous Strange you will dive deep into Darklight and once you finally come up for air is when you will realize there is nothing left to do but wait for the next one.
